Hard to Believe...

it has been 6 months (Saturday) that I had the surgery that changed my life.

I cannot even express the happiness and change that my life has taken. I am so much more healthier then ever. I have a ton more energy. I walk, play tennis and I am so much more active.

It is not always easy. People think I took the easy way out....but I can assure you I did not. I still have to work my tool. I have to make sure I get my protein in, take my vitamins and drink my water. I watch my carbohydrates.

I love the new life I have...I would not change a thing.

I am happy.

I am healthy.

I am active.

I can do so much more.

I LOVE the new me.

I don't understand the 'easy way out' theory. You still had to work to loose the weight and you will have to work to keep it off! Look at Carnie Wilson! Your doing great Dori! I know how good it feels to loose weight and I am so proud of how awesome you've done!

Yay Dori! I'm so happy for you! I just read an article in Redbook about a lady who recently went through this surgery - the article was about why this was NOT the easy way out and to shed some light on the whole surgery, why it's done etc. Interesting!
