I am back from my follow up with the hematologist. All my blood tests were normal except the white blood count which is even higher then 2 weeks ago...it is now 28,000, normal 8 to 10,000.
The doctor said the only way to know what is going on is to do a bone marrow biopsy. On the script for the biopsy it says diognosis leukocytosis but believes it is Myeloproliferative Disorder.
Of course looked that up and it scares me a bit.So going to have to go to the hospital so the Interventional Radiology department can do a bone marrow biopsy and aspiration under CT guidance. He wants some other tests done with this as well.
I do not know what to think.

Keeping you in my prayers that it is nothing serious! When will you have the biopsy and results back?
Oh my goodnes! Don't they think that maybe you just have an infection of some sort? You know plain ol sick? Couldn't they just put you on antibiotics for 10 days and redraw your labs? This seems a bit extreme, but I will definately pray that everything is okay.
